Karchen founded TSA in 2018. He is a devout human rights advocate who is known as a writer for the Tibet Express, as well as being a nationally recognized debater.

Treasurer: Faduma Kadir
Faduma is the treasurer for TSA. She studies International Relations and Public Health. She is a fan of Meek Mill, who famously said, "Mo money, mo money."
Advisor: Professor M. Woodworth
Professor Woodworth specializes in development and geography. He is currently researching China's suburban new-town developments and energy investments in western China.
Upcoming events
This semester, our president, Karchen, will be delivering a presentation on his research into the human rights crisis in Tibet. TSA is hopeful that world-renowned author and journalist, Tsering Namgyal Khortsa will also be presenting! Khortsa is author of the book The Tibetan Suitcase.
